Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration

Securely manage organizational access through integrated identity providers like Okta, Google, and GitHub.

Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration

Sypha Enterprise empowers your organization with robust access management through Single Sign-On (SSO). By enabling SSO, your engineering team can authenticate into Sypha using your established corporate identity provider, such as Okta, GitHub Enterprise, or Google Workspace.

Strategic Benefits of SSO

  • Unified Access Governance: Centralise all user permissions within your existing identity infrastructure.
  • Accelerated Onboarding: New developers automatically receive Sypha access upon being added to your corporate directory.
  • Hardened Security: Enforce department-wide mandates for password complexity, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and session duration.
  • Seamless Offboarding: Instantly revoke access across all Sypha surfaces when an employee departs the organization.

Implementation Prerequisites

To initialize SSO, you will require:

  • Administrative Privileges: Owner or Administrator status within your Sypha organisation.
  • Provider Access: Configuration access to your Identity Provider (IdP) (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace).

Implementation Steps

1. Access the Management Portal

Navigate to the Organization Dashboard. Locate the SSO Configuration module and select "Initialize SSO Setup."

Once SSO is active:

  • Standardize on-boarding using your corporate email domain.
  • Synchronize team roles and access levels via the Portal Dashboard.
  • Monitor transition and authentication events in the Security Audit Logs.
